What Listeners Say

Twice a year, WUIS-WIPA holds on-air fund drives to raise needed funding and celebrate the community of public radio fans. This is an opportunity for listeners to become members, for renewing members to show their support of their favorite shows or reporters, and for all of us to talk about what we like about public radio.

Listen to other listeners talking about why they support WUIS-WIPA:

Chip the BeakPeople who listen to WUIS-WIPA and support it often tell us they love public radio because of the stories it brings into their homes. . .and they, in turn, are kind enough to share their stories with us.

Chip the Beak is a macaw "owned" by Jonathan and Laura Reyman of Springfield.

He lets them know he appreciates Classical Music with Karl Scroggin by bobbing up and down, back and forth while the music is on.

If you have a story about how WUIS has affected your life, please let us know. While we won't air Chip's squawking, we might just air a testimonial from you.
