Where is The Writer's Almanac with Garrison Keillor?
The Writer's Almanac now airs at the end of Illinois Edition at approximately 12:55 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 12:25 p.m. on Fridays.

Where can I listen to classical music?
Classical music has moved to WUIS Classic our digital, around-the-clock classical channel. It can be listened to through and HD Radio receiver at 91.9-2 HD or through streaming on computers, Internet radios, and mobile devices.

Where can I purchase an HD Radio or Internet radio?

How can I listen to classical music in my car?
WUIS Classic is available in some HD Radio equipped cars. An aftermarket radio can be installed, or for those with AUX jacks on their radio, a portable HD Radio receiver can be used to feed your existing car radios. Also, for many in the listening area WILL 90.9 FM (east) and WUIM 91.3 FM (west) can often be received in your car.

Is there any classical music on the main broadcast at 91.9 FM?
Yes, the long-running Lincoln Library Concert with Jim Huston where he highlights recordings available to check-out from the library airs Sunday mornings at 6:00. Also, Illinois Symphony Orchestra concerts will air Sunday afternoons as specials when available. Finally, WUIS and NPR will continue their outstanding coverage of the arts including performances during the new local magazine, Illinois Edition, along with reviews, interviews with artists and stories on classical music during various programs.
