During the summer, the pundits at State Week in Review take some time off. For 13 weeks, Illinois Edition brings you shows focusing on a variety of topics related to the politics, arts and history in Illinois.

Illinois Edition is produced by WUIS staff and other Illinois Public Radio reporters. Listeners can expect to hear about a variety of topics from a variety of viewpoints.

Episodes of Illinois Edition have won several awards in the Best Documentary category in Illinois Associated Press Broadcasters Association competition in recent years.

Illinois Edition is broadcast at 6:30 p.m. on Friday and at 6:30 a.m. on Saturday, each week, July through September. It also airs on other public radio stations in Illinois and is available as a podcast.
